After a very entertaining talk by Faith  Douglas Curator of Thorp Perrow, a large group of members spent a very enjoyable and entertaining day at Thorp Perrow.  Faith led the party on a very interesting and educational walk through the grounds of Thorp Perrow.  As well as the beautiful and varied snowdrops  we saw the amazing trees in the aboretum and the sad sight of the remains of a tree felled by a storm with an enormous root plate a picture of which is included in the picture gallery.
