WELCOME
Old Sleningford Hall
This very vibrant and energetic club was formed many years ago when a group of like-minded people got together to share their knowledge and ideas. It currently has an approximate membership of seventyfive.
- We have interesting Speakers on a variety of garden related topics;
- Give you ideas for your garden;
- Have plant sales;
- Organise varied outings to gardens and nurseries of which pictures can be seen in albums via menu on Welcome page.
We meet approximately every two weeks during Spring and Autumn at 7.00pm in Christ Church Stockton Lane this term with a guest speaker. Naturally the venue gives us all the opportunity to socialise both before and after the formal part of the meeting with coffee beforehand.
As mentioned previously there is also the opportunity to join several organised trips (this year's detailed on the Meeting Time Table Page) to interesting houses and beautiful gardens and the cost of the bus transport is subsidised by club funds.
There is no joining fee but there is a charge of £3.00 for every meeting attended.
